ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Association Championships is a premier annual Football NSW tournament held during the July school holidays, bringing together Associations from across NSW to compete in a representative environment.

Each of the 31 Associations enters teams made up of players selected from their local community clubs, providing a unique opportunity for players to represent their Association on a larger stage.

The tournament is not only a high-quality competition, but also a key development opportunity — supporting coach education, referee development, and talent identification pathways.

The event is hosted at rotating regional venues each year and includes the following age groups:

• Boys: Under 13 & Under 14

• Girls: Under 14 & Under 15

Each participating Association also contributes young match officials (under 21), creating a well-rounded development experience across all areas of the game.
