The Sutherland Shire Football Association is proud to launch the Female Coach Mentor Program, supporting the growth of female coaches within our football community.

This initiative will connect aspiring and developing female coaches with experienced mentors who will provide guidance throughout the season through match observation, training visits and ongoing feedback.

The program aims to build confidence, strengthen coaching knowledge and create visible role models across our game while helping more women grow and thrive in coaching.

The Sutherland Shire Football Association’s Coach Mentor Program is designed to support the continued development of male coaches across our football community.

Through the program, selected coaches will be paired with experienced mentors who will provide practical support throughout the season. This will include training observation, match observation, and ongoing constructive feedback.

The initiative aims to help coaches reflect on their coaching practice, further develop their approach, and continue creating positive and effective environments for players to learn and enjoy the game.

The Sutherland Shire Football Association invites young and aspiring coaches to be part of the Young Coach Mentor Program.

This program provides emerging coaches with the opportunity to learn from experienced mentors while developing their coaching knowledge, confidence and leadership throughout the season.

Through practical support, observation opportunities and feedback, the program aims to help young coaches build strong foundations for their coaching journey while contributing positively to their teams and the wider football community.
