Wet Weather

Our grounds in the Sutherland Shire can be affected by wet weather, especially during the winter season. When this happens, we work closely with clubs to reschedule games and minimise disruptions where possible.

Our team manages these changes in real time based on advice from our 26 clubs. With over 630 games on Saturdays and 170 games on Sundays, this process takes a considerable amount of time.

SSFA aims to publish fixture changes by 7:00am on both days — publication of changes will occur immediately after the process is complete via our social media pages.

When wet weather changes occur, updates will be published via a PDF document in our Linktree.

This link can be found:

  • In the links in our bio on Instagram and Facebook

  • In the Additional Links section of the MyCompApp home screen

  • Via the link below

  • Through the link provided in our social media posts

Please note that the link will appear at the top of the Linktree links with the current date, and will only be available in the event of wet weather.

Fixtures in MyCompApp will be updated in accordance with any changes ASAP, and notifications will also be issued. However, it is of high importance that teams check both the Changes Document and MyCompApp prior to attending their fixture.

Any changes made to fixtures after 7am will be communicated to your club for distribution to affected teams.
